vizio programming codes

Need remote programming codes as well as instructions on how to set my remote with my tv?

I have a JVC dvd &vcr remote Model hrxvc26u hrxvc26ua. Serial # LP21036-038 need to program it to my tv VIZIO HD “38.

I doubt that remote is programmable. If it is, the DVD/DVR manual will say how and have the codes.
