Plasma or Lcd?
I just visited Costco today and found a Vizio 47” LCD, and a Vizio 50” Plasma Tv. Both TV’s are 1080p. And the 50” plasma is 100 more, but price really does’t affect my decision. I just want the better of the two. Thank you.

get an lcd and thats not a suggestion that a definative answer
a plasma will if you let it burn on an image to the screen
imagine this
your watching a football match or american football or whatever you watch… the grass is green and it will be on the screen for the majority of the time then you change the channel after maybe 3 hours you have a green hue on every channel because the grass is burned onto the screen
and if you will have channel logos burned onto the screen too ie a sky or fox news ticker burned onto the screen.
so watever you watch you will be reminded of the day you went to sleep on the sofa with the telly on. do NOT buy the plasma!
